Recruiting alternatives for Austin veterinary employers
Use this Austin guide to evaluate the service you actually need: a permanent search, temporary coverage, job advertising or another form of practice support. The providers below appeared in saved search research. Their own published descriptions inform the guide; BEGHR's editorial assessments explain fit, tradeoffs and questions to resolve before signing.

Listed alphabetically, not scored by quality. The research includes first-page organic results and local listings, with queries and recorded capture dates available on each provider page.
Its employer page describes US and Canadian recruitment and a process spanning finding, attracting, recruiting, onboarding and retaining candidates, including direct outreach.
Its site identifies Austin and San Antonio as initial service markets, offers GP, ER and specialty shift coverage, and describes a buyout path for permanent employment.
Keep north, west, south and east Austin coverage explicit. Round Rock, Georgetown and Hutto are separate hiring locations from Buda, Kyle and San Marcos. Lakeway and Lago Vista should not be presented as interchangeable with an east-side practice in Manor or Bastrop. Identify each clinic address and any work across locations; do not infer a candidate’s commute from an Austin mailing label.
For a group with several hospitals, specify the home practice, the rotation and who controls the schedule. Include weekday and weekend expectations, overnight duties if applicable, and the clinical support present on each shift. Ask candidates to evaluate the actual location and schedule rather than describing every community as an easy commute.
Give every provider the same hospital address, clinical scope, work schedule, compensation structure and decision dates. Compare the plan for that brief. A result appearing for a city search does not prove a provider has a local office or available candidates there.
Send the same approved brief to the providers you want to evaluate. Ask them to confirm the scope and unresolved terms in writing, then compare their proposals with your hiring team.
